Yes. my Flash, you've seen it Tony, was VERY hot to the touch above the thrust tube. It almost melted through my stab extensions. I put ceramic blanket covered in foil along the top half ALL the way down. It was a pain, since you have to remove the thrust tube and bellmouth completely. But you'll be glad you did. Make sure to use foil! I also wrapped the extensions in foil tape to reflect as much heat as possible. It did change my CG a little and had to be fixed, but it's nice and cool now.
