You don't have to buy that part from GP. You can cut your own windshield. You have a couple of choices, you can buy a sheet of clear plastic from the crafts section at your local Wal-mart. Or you could simply use a 2 liter soda bottle and cut a new windshield out of that. I have the Slow Poke 40 kit and I've scanned the windshield template for you. I've saved it as a PDF so the dimensions will be correct. Just print it out and cut out the template, then you can cut a new windshield for it.
