Ok folks so I tore her down, the piston and sleeve looks great, and on the bottom end the connecting rod looks ok, but I am still very concerned with the hitch at top dead center. If I grab the connecting rod with a finger, and try spinning the flywheel, I cannot feel any real slop in the pin, but when it hits top dead center it feels like it moves just a bit. Is this nasty hitch normal? Am I just overreacting to what could ultimately be a bad low speed needle valve? Ahhh I need to figure this out.................
the slack on the top end is normal as long as no metal like grinding feeling,,,also u may include checking the bearings and bearing housing is intact and no play as much as possible.
