macbane- i would be concerned about the oil %. boats need 18%. i use 60% o`donnell, but it says "boat " under the 60%. the one you`re talking about says for cars/trucks. they use less oil%. the ones labeled "boats" doesn`t start until 30%. i also have the o.s. xm. the nitro % is o.k., just less power. if i were you i would try to find something you know has 18% oil. i get mine from tower hobbies. good luck.
