One of the really nice things about the YS 2-stroke engines is that they don't require high nitro or oil to run properly. I know several people who have run the .45 on standard sport 10% for several years without a single issue. This engine likes to turn up, and will be happy with anything up to and including an 11X7 if the pipe is set right. They run well on a muffler, OS 60 FSR muffler matches perfectly but I'm sure there are others as well, but they really come alive with a pipe.
