While the difference is going to drive you nuts aestetically... the 3/8" difference at the tip will be barely noticible if the stab is otherwise level with the plane of the wings.

If the stab were warped as well, you would have bigger problems. But if it is just slight "angle" instead of being perpendicular with the fuselage you'll barely notice.

It could possibly show up as a very slight corkscrew during TIGHT loops, but I've flown smaller planes with larger angles ( thanks to damage due to crashes ) w/o anything like this appearing.

I have edited my post 3 times ... changing how much the difference is. I once had 1/4" ... 3/8" .. and once I had 1/2"! I'm not totally sure what it is. I didn't measure it last night when I saw it ... because it didn't matter ... All I know is it shows up BIG TIME! If you were walking down a flihgtline .. looking a planes lined up with the nose first, .. when you got to this one ... you would see .. spinner, fine ... cowl, fine ... wings, fine .... then you would see ..stab tilted! While looking across the plan-form of the wing, your peripheral vision would also pick up the stab and its non parallel horizontal line in comparison to the wing. Its unacceptable. Something has to be done. One of my pet peeves is things that obviously don't look right. Its my fault, I understand that .. but I can't live with it. You'll ne3ver see me fly with out a cowl or wheel pants ... I can't stand it .. I can't do it . Aesthetics just mean too much to me. So, .. how did I let this happen if I'm that anal ??? ... I don't know.
