Bone... you recommend that I run all of my 8 Enya's on castor ? what brand...? what oil content..? You do not use syn or syn/castor on any of your many enya's??? or do you have a special fuel for each engine that you fly...? You are running castor only on your 4 strokes? I hope you are able to answer these questions and be a helpful contributor to this forum not just a shot in the dark...

The main point here is that the engine is sold but not garenteed.... the break in suggestion from Enya does not, does not, state that you must use only a castor lub... I ran that engine with castor only for one year plus extra castor in that gallon... I switched to the PowerMaster 15/18 castor/syn mix a year back and run all of my engines on that fuel... they perform beautifully and are run rich, maybe too rich but they are in fine shape... Only this one engine seemed to have a problem... I have talked to others who have had this engine break down similiar to my engine... I question that this engine may have a manufactor's problem... I do not know... but 8 other Enya's run fine and without problems... same fuel... only one breaks?
