I would stick with the LT-40. You won't be disappointed. It's a great plane. As far as the price you quoted, a good deal depends on the individual components you will be getting. If I were you I would take a trip to your hobby shop, pick up a current magazine, and compare prices to the adds you see in the mag. It will help you decide if you're getting a good deal or not.
