About that chipped blade, and Goldslinger can back me up on this one:
CHANGE THAT CHIPPED/CRACKED BLADE!! Better to spend $1.00 on a replacement blade now, or $50 in parts later after you've lost control of your heli and smashed it into the concrete. Ask me how I know this, "eh, she's flying fine".
In my experiences, R/C planes are much more forgiving, i.e., at least you can come into a skidding halt on the ground w/ minimal damages most of the time, but heli's are a different story. Not only are your blades your source of propulsion, but also your "wings". You lose those, it's over.
