I have quite a few flights now on our PST Panther and can say with confidence that it would be appropriate as a first time scale jet. It is bigger, requires a larger engine ( 14 plus lbs thrust ) and the design is different than the A7. We sold a lot of kits last year and many should be flying this summer. Hopefully you'll be able to check out both models at your local events.
