easier to fly panther or a7

I've seen the Panther fly, and it is impressive. It is not a rocket ship on the recommended engines, nor should it be, but it does have a commanding presence in the air. I have seen the JHH A-7 at their display booth, but never in flight. It is beautiful, but pretty small (57" long 47" span)...a significant concern for us optically challenged types.......

I have flown my ARF JHH A7 for about 40+ flights so far on a wren 44 gold turbine. A P60 will fly it with more authority if you need more power and speed. The size is small to fit into my mid-sized SUV without taking out the wings. It's easier to fly than a lot of bigger jets even though it looks small. Because it's small, I am able to fly tight turns and stay low. Somehow our eyes just adjust to the size. We will just fly it closer than flying a larger jet, so it does not bother me very much. It's a highwing airplane, so it does not do well in cross winds per my skills. I start to like A7 because it's a unique looking aircraft. Grow to like it.
I have a cougar as well, similar to Panther, but no a lot of experience on that to put a good or bad comments.
Let me know if you need more information on the A7.

speedaholic,
Mike has some very good points. The A-7 is a very easy flying airplane. I have flown the airplane with the MW-44 gold and our E-Turbax fan. Both fly equally as well...though with the gold the airplane approaches 180+ at full throttle.
75% throttle is a good cruise (140-150) punching it to 100% for climbs etc. The size is nice in that it easily fits into a compact car (I can fit the airplane in one piece into my Subaru sport wagon). It has a 1-piece removeable wing so breaks down in to a small amount of space. I'm using a Dubro 32 oz tank with a 4 oz header and get 5-7 minute flights depending how hard I am on the throttle. There's a 48 oz conformal tank available. I've attached some pics of my turbine bird.

I have quite a few flights now on our PST Panther and can say with confidence that it would be appropriate as a first time scale jet. It is bigger, requires a larger engine ( 14 plus lbs thrust ) and the design is different than the A7. We sold a lot of kits last year and many should be flying this summer. Hopefully you'll be able to check out both models at your local events.
