seems that your club has some issues inforcing frequency control.the sad part about this is there is a new type of flyer that either don't care or do not understand the consequenses of their actions.
I was out to the field this morning and there were three of us regulars, and a guy we hadn't seen before. Soon, a couple more cars showed up and it was some more new members. Planes are comming out and my card is still the only one on the board ( the other two regular guys fly heilocoptors on 2/4GHZ) I started making the rounds of the new guys, introducing myself and asking them what channel they were on. 2.4GHZ was the answer. SO, we made a quick modification to the frequency board and a hand written note to hang your card on the Ham pegs if you were flying 2.4. There were ten pegs and eight of them filled up and until later in the morning, I was still the only one with a card in the 72MHZ slots. It isn't hard to see the future of the Frequency boards is it?
We had been talking about setting up a board for the 2.4 guys so we could at least get a count of cards and transmitters that matched. It sure makes you uneasy to see guys with transmitters in hand and no cards indicating the channel. At least now, we can tell if everyone "logged in".
