It was me that had the problems with the listing that you were referring to. Basically its about not allowing the use 'like tamiya' in the TITLE only. Some Tam snobs as you put it took objection and had me sticthed me up and the listing was removed ( just hours left with bids on it and 30 watchers). You can make a comparison in the description but apparently not the title as it effects the searches so ebay told me. Ebay do not check themselves, its the interfering gits that spoil the party that have nothing better to do. ebay actually had sympathy but well you know, removed it anyhoo. So, dont use 'like Tamiya' in the listing title and you should be ok. I am about to sell a few of my painted tank bodies on Ebay and am thinking about my wording too as it happens. Make sure you use '1/16 RC tank' and you will pick up the Tamiya searches anyway for the most part.
I had the last laugh BTW, the auction was going well, but as I was forced to re-list the HL tank ended up going buy it now for 3 times the price the auction was hovering around. The irony was, it sold for what you can but a Tamiya on ebay for anyway, so, thanks Tam snobs.
