RE: New Evolution 58 does not start
Pe: Except for the "sheet metal cover" line, my plumbing is as you describe. (I'll certainly remove that line as it's other end is not connected to anything.) When the ignition is switched on, I hear the "initial spark" from the ignition. The problem remains that the first whiff of gas has not gotten to the spark plug to react to an ignition spark. (Ignition voltage is the correct 2S LiPo, and the battery is fully charged.)
So, I'll call Horizon Hobby support in the morning and then decide if I should send the engine back to them for repair, or take it to the local chain saw repair shop. Were I to take the carb apart for inspection, I have no confidence that I would recognize the problem (or solution to that problem).
