There are two models available now, the XB8R and the XB8 EC. The R is the base line version and the EC is the top end racing version. The basic construction is identical - same layout and many of the same parts. The EC has more bling, more high end CNC parts, and more adjustability to the suspension. With about $250 in parts you can convert an R to an EC. Less if you don't need the flexibility to the suspension. I have to tell you, I just built this buggy and I can't say enough about the quality of construction. Outstanding.
