Default RE: XtremeLink Fail safe setup question

Matt
Thanks for the info. I did everything with minor deviation as noted in red in you quoted text. It worked great and I test flew the Roo today and it was ROCK SOLID.

Thanks again for your help

Best Regards

Ben

OK after an quick look at the manual;

1.) In the receiver, map the throttle channel to a failsafe channel (page 18 of the receiver manual) and set the failsafe time (page 19). Note that the combination of failsafe time on the transmitter and the ECU must be checked to make sure they meet the AMA limits, if one is concerned with the AMA limits. Set to 1 second

2.) On the transmitter, program the throttle ATV for +/- 140% (100% Radio JR 10) throw (or whatever the highest percentage your transmitter will accomodate).

3.) Now program the receiver failsafe for low throttle position (page 21).

4.) Go back and set the throttle ATV to +/-75% on the transmitter.

5.) "Learn RC" on the ECU.

I think this will work, but I have no way of testing it. Let me know if it does, Ben.
