Default RE: Twist 150 and havin fun

Chuck,

Finished the Twist 150 this weekend and put it on the scale. It weighed in at 10.0 lbs. This is ready to fly with the G26 engine (stock magneto), no fuel in the tank and a 6.0 volt, 2700mah, NiMH battery pack. I didn't add any weight to get the CG, just moved the battery pack as necessary. Added 1/4 ounce to wingtip for lateral balance. The scale used was digital that weighs in 1/2 lbs increments. Its always been fairly accurate (+- 1/4 lb).

Sherman89,

I will fly it as soon as the weather permits, but I know for sure I will not attempt it in 20MPH winds. Sherman89, don't know how you handle it in those winds. My budget (and my plane) go all to pieces when I fly in high winds!!!
