I balanced mine at 3.5" and have no weight in the nose...it still noses over on T.O. and landing though....but flys great at that C.G. location.
I'm using a heavier engine though (not much, a few oz...TT .91FS ) and my battery is in the tray (factory recommended spot )

Go to the "Warbirds" forum and search for Hangar 9 P-40...there's a long thread on it.
