I don't remember seeing a full scale airplane with any offset in the engine. ( I'm sure someone will try to correct me) I don't use any right offset or down thrust on my scale models either. I've seen this over the years, but I feel that those who use these offsets are doing it to compensate for something else (horizontal stab incidence off, or not wanting to use rudder when flying) Perhaps I'm wrong, but I don't think so. Let's hear from some of you aeronautical engineering types.
