Every radio equipment manufacturer I have seen strongly reccomends you NEVER try to conceal the reciever wire by cutting,rolling, or looping back through the fuse. It WILL shorten the range of the reciever. But, usually, plenty of reception will remain even if you do this; just a caution. I always play it safe.
