I'm still thinking about it. I dont do 3d and I dont think I ever will. I like to fly the sportsman pattern manuvers. The Zen 30 has a 46" w/s and 463 w/a. Weight of 4#. The .28 w/tp should fly the sportsman pattern. I dont need unlimited vertical, but I do need enough. The la40 weighs about the same as a .28 or .36 engine. It will swing a prop from 9x7 to 11x4. I have both engines[.28os and la40].
On your .48 fs did yours require alot of tail weight? How much was the total weight? Last but not least, are you happy with the kit and flight performance?
