FYI, it's not 5lbs, more like 2-2 1/2... and they are not that much different.. 3 speed, reverse....colors
14lbs and 17lbs... That's enough of a difference to be a major factor for me. If I was buying a CEN it would be the Nemesis. Since both trucks are based on the same platform, that 3lb difference means better handling and a more durable truck. The Nem also comes with better radio gear and wheels/tires.
Either one would be fine with me personally, cause I'd basically just turn the GST into a 3 speed Nemesis, but comparing stock truck to stock truck... it would be Nemesis all the way for me.
--Back to the original question-- I would go with the LST2. Better handling, better electronics, easier to get replacement parts, there are more hopups available to tailor the performance...
