I had the version before tha last vesrsion and it had a P120 in it. It weighed in at 26 lbs dry with a smoke system. I liked the plane a lot and I had tons of flights on it. It got locked out on a bad channel (ch56) at best in the west in 2004 and it flat landed on its belly and got destroyed.

I hear the new version is a couple of lbs heavier but flys well indeed. If you get one for a good price, it is a good design. I actually saw the full size and talked to its pilot at Reno in 2005!!! He said he actually saw my Viper in a low fly by in one of the rags!!! We had a long discussion and I checked all the controls.

You may have to put some nose weight. Mine required none.
