Use low temp...high will discolor the aluminum. Also, 50/50, antifreeze/water, seems to work just a tad better than pure antifreeze...at least it does for me. When you want to "cook" your engine tear it all down and slip it into the "bath" EXCEPT for the piston and sleeve...DON'T cook them! There is a residual of burnt on oil/etc., on these parts that is beneficial...you DON'T want to remove it...it is what will make these parts last longer/work better!
