All designs have advantages and disadvantages. The Cap is great at snapping maneuvers, but because of its coupling it is harder to do rollers with. If you are in a class that does not have rollers then you might not care.

The extra's are not great at any one maneuver, however they are good at all of them which is why many people have gone to extra's.

E3 - I have flown (and "built") both Carden's and the dalton. IMHO the cardens blow away the Dalton. That said there are some people who have built Carden grossly overweight, but a carden built and trimmed correctly cannot be beat.
