I took my 12Z to the field Sunday. The temperature was in the high 80's with low humidity. When I took the transmitter out of the box and turned it on, I noticed that the edges of the screen were dark and there was a dark streak across the middle. Per our club policy I put the transmitter in our impound (not in the case) while it was not being used which is shaded all the time. The dark areas didn't clear up while the radio stayed in the impound all afternoon, in fact it didn't clear up until I got it home and took it inside the house. I have had a 6XAS, 7CAP and 9CAP over the last 5 years and I have never experienced this before. I am concerned that the problem will become worse as the temperatures go up. Have you received any other posts or complaints about this? Is there something wrong with the screen? What can I do to avoid this problem?
