Sorry to burst yours but Quadras were made/sold by Trail Mfg in Canada....
From chainsaws...
Way before 1981...
We were using Q35s in the early 70s...
Which I happen to have parts/pieces for about 5 of the originals....
With points...
With the old stamped steel mount..
With the old steel hex prop hub...Or the Rual mfg aluminum hub...
I have an even older one, the spark plug faces forward, the plug wire is only about 2 inches long..It's from the old original chainsaw..Over 30 years old...
The one in the pic has a later aluminum hub...

Or Ron shettler, he was the first with Quadra airplane engines...WAY back when,,
