could the cylinder be flooded? I've heard some stuff about AE flywheels having problems with starterboxes. Something about not being able to use the flywheel from either the FT or RTR in a starterbox and having to use one from the opposite source (ie. not FT, then use RTR or vice versa). I'm not sure if that's the problem, personally, I doubt it.

But check to see if your cylinder is flooded, it may have a hard time bringing the crank to TDC because of it.
