My friend Serge has one...and has begun assembling it.
He's waiting on retracts from Robart,..but is considering putting maybe Hobbico retracts on it in the meantime. If you're wanting any kind of speed at all out of this plane, you need to go with a 2 stroke engine. Both Serge and I have Nitromodels Bobcats,( similar to this plane), and have experimented with different engines and props.
So far, Serge says it is going together easy, no problems, covering is good, very sleek airplane.
He has an O.S. 61 to put in it. This engine pushed his Bobcat over 100 mph, so we're hoping for more with the Flycat.
I will post a video of the maiden flight, hopefully within the next couple weeks.
