With the 48 engine your clip wing Cub will only do maneuvers if you dive first to pick up some speed and even then it will only manage an elliptical loop or a cork screw roll.

With my engine I ran a 12-5 prop. It seemed to be very satisfactory. I used the engine on a Slow Poke. It was very adequate for the plane.
