I think I understand, you're worried about up inside the fuselage, the bracket the struts attach to? I don't have an amswer for you on that. I keep my flying Cub in one piece and the ARF is in storage. I figured on having to drill a hole in the bracket to get the landing gear bolt in place and seated. On the outside, there is no interferance between the strut bolts and the gear.
