I would like to build a larger scale Spitfire, but have been unable to find a kit or plans for a scale version. The TF kit does not have scale outlnes or landing gear, and the ARF's are not any closer. I would like a larger (70 in or larger) early variant, Mk IX or earlier, with scale outlines and landing gear. A kit would be best as my scratch-building skills are somewhat lacking, but an easier plans-built airframe might be within my skill level. I have built many kits, but only two easy scratch-building projects. I know this may be a tall order to fill, but past experience has shown that RCU members are able to help with anything. Thanks for reading my thread, I hope someone out there might know where I can find my Spitfire!
