If you're just looking for a fun on road car, it just depends on what you wann do. If you're looking to drift, use electric. Speed isn't a factor for 2 reasons:
1) You don't have a lot of speed when drifting
2) Electric cars can be just as fast if not faster than nitro.

The only reason I would get Nitro, if I were you, is if you just like working on Nitro or like the sound or smell or something. Car for car, nitro has no advantages over electric in the drift scene. It's actually at quite a DISadvantage.
