One thing you need to get into the habit of, for long engine life, is to run the engine dry. After you have done flying for the day, pump any remaining fuel out of the tank (normally back into the fuel jug ), then start the engine and let it run out any fuel that is remaining in the engine.

Expect your 1st glow plug to only last about 5 - 6 tanks of fuel. While breaking in the engine little bits of stuff come off the inside of the engine and USUALLY short the plug out after 5 - 6 tanks of fuel.

I do not believe that OS provides a glow plug with the engine. Use OS #8 plugs. They are the best I have found for my OS 2 stroke engines.
