Hi ,
I have used these hinges before and I used Epoxy with a little vaseline on the joint where it hinges.These hinges I dont like, and I do not use them any more. The slot has to be cut wide, the gluing can be time consuming and tricky,even properly installed they leave a gap that can cause flutter when flying.
Ask around you may want to use another style hinge.
