Hi John,
Sorry but a standard switch cannot be used to turn the SuperReg on/off. The problem is that the SuperSwitch expects the white (signal) wire to be shorted to the black (ground) wire to turn the regulator off. A standard switch only switches the red (power) wire while the other two are just passed through. You "could" rewire the output plug on one of your switches by putting the red wire where the white wire is. You would then have to short the red to black on the input side of the switch.
