Default Painting tail lights clear red, orange, and white... what paint to use?

Hi, I'm putting together my first RC car, and I really would like it to look nice (like a mini replica of the 1:1 car I drive!). Those lame stickers the Tamiya TT-01 kit provides for the tail lights just wont cut it. I was thinking of using a red, orange, and white/clear paint for the acrylic body to simulate the tails... any suggestions? I already have Testors Model Master clear enamel that I used for an earlier project... will that work on polycarbonate/lexan? As for the orange, Tamiya has a variety of acrylics, but it doesn't say it's safe for polycarbonate, either. Finally, I can find a variety of "clear" paints, the the reverse indicators/reflectors on a real car are more white than clear. Are there any opaque/clear/white paints out there that look good? thanks!
