g62 starting problems
I recently purchased a slightly used G62 that has the rc ignitions conversion that I , for some reason can't start. When I bought the engine and started it up for the first time it started and ran what I would consider on the rough side. I flew 5 flights but the engine sounded as if it was deiseling. The next day I started the engine up at home and after it warmed up I stopped it. I then adjusted the carb to the factory setting and restarted it. The engine sounded great and ran very nice. I took the plane to the field a couple days later , choked the engine and after I noticed gas dripping a little from the carb I turned on the ignition and after a couple more prop turns the engine sputters, I open the choke and turn it maybe 30 or more times and it wouldn't start. I have gone through this procedure 3 more times with the same results. I even replaced the spark plug. If I close the choke it sounds like it wants to start. I have also opened the choke half way and nothing happens.
