RE: Gws Formosa
Got a question for all of yall:
Recently crashed my 'Mosa which was setup with a Himax 2015-4100, 5.33 Gears, a 9x7 prop, and 11.1v 1320 pack.
Finished rebuilding the plane, but the motor was toast. I have several GWS gearbox's laying around, both C and D gearing, and a Park 400-4200 inrunner from Eflite.
I understand that this is the same motor as the Himax 2025-4200. Who else has used this motor or has motocalc?
I need a power setup for this plane. I would like to still use the 1320 packs I have for lighter weight and quicker charge times. This would mean that I need a power setup that doesnt exceed 10-12amps.
I also have some TP2100 packs as well, but they are heavier.
Can anyone give me a gear/prop combo that would work well for a 10-12 amp output and another for a 18-22amp output if I want to use the 2100 packs?
