Hello Malcolm. Yes you are correct on the air flow. I have 2 air dams up front. one goes to the motor and the other goes up and to the batteries. Here in Arizona I flew the plane yesterday, the temperature outside was 105 degrees. The batteries were 106 degrees before I flew the plane. After a 7 min flight with the TP 4200 the batteries were 132 degrees. I do believe I could even keep the batteries cooler by making a deflector to blow the incoming air through the batteries. i will post more pics Tomorrow.
