Whirly Bird, What cap are you reffering to? and what is a ham?
I myself as you, am wondering what is a cap.. hehe. I am a "ham" also. The term "ham" comes from *amateur* and it is usually said of Amateur Radio Operators, we are all over the world, and communicate all over the world through shortwave bands, as well as VHF and UHF in many operation modes that go from Morse Code (CW), to RTTY (Radioteletype), to Packet Radio, SSTV (Slow Scan TV), AM, FM, and many other modes. In the U.S. a "ham" is certified by a FCC (Federal Communications Commision) license that goes from Novice to Extra Class. "Ham" Radio is a hobby, as it is our hobby here of flying helis and/or planes, it's just another way of having fun. ;-)

Back to our schedule.....sorry but I had to say this.

Regards (...from KF4NR 73's to all the hams here hehe)
