RE: Tamiya IR combat question
Once the battle starts all players should keep off the field until it is over. If your tank breaks down or has a malfunction it must continue the battle with its handicap. When I was at Danville my tank lost a track, so basically I was a pillbox. This has happened to many. It makes for a more challenging gameplay. You can of course make up your own club rules, but I feel having no interference while the battle is in process is a good rule.
Once a tank is knocked out it should remain as such until the battle is over, generally one shuts the transmitter off. The settings should follow what Tamiya recommends as far as light, medium and heavy settings. Some may argue how to classify certain tanks but once again your club can make its own rules.
