I am contemplating trimming some fins on the jug too but I know once I get started I wont be finished with it for days. I usually start with a high speed cutter and then move to the course drum and then the fine sanding drum. I use the abrasive buff(the one that looks like a hair donut) then use the felt with some mothers and it will come out like chrome. Can you believe I did a whole volkwagon engine like that!!!!:spinnyeye
