Default RE: is this Tx a good one for future projects?

ORIGINAL: sky-pilot I have been toled I should posting in the radios section
I have right now the e-flite ccpm Tx and it is usefull only for helis.. so. i searched a little and found that there two good ones Hitec optic 6 Hitech eclipse 7 they arnt so cheap for me buty if I wanna buy a Tx it must be a good one oNce and for all! so I wonder if the optic 6 is cabable for future projects with mixings and vtail and such .. it is right? or should I spare more an get the eclipse
Yes, both are good value, especially with removable RF modules (except Optic Sport) which provide for easy change of current frequencies and adoption of future frequency changes e.g. 2.4 GHz. Refer to the manuals for more detail than that shown on your links. Further details available under "Radio Systems, Accessories, Alterations and FAQ" on my web page, or email me direct for spreadsheet "Eclipse vs Optic vs FF6 vs 9CAP vs RD600 vs JR652 vs JR3810 (8103)" .
Am using an Eclipse 7 for high end performance models and an Optic 6 to fly most of my everyday models (which range from small EP to large gas).
The Optic 6 is consideredf to be the easiest computer TX to program with easy to follow screen and, like the Eclipse 7, I do not have to change to my reading glasses. NB: A new version of the Optic 6 = a simplified model designated "Optic 6 Sport" is/will soon be in LHS.
