are the acetone stains on the inside? if so you can try to stain the outside of the canopy with rit dye. I have been using that method since I read a post on here it works wonderful. the key is to keep your dye water above 120f and have a container big enough to have the canopy submerged. I haven’t had much luck with canopy’s staying on with the glues avalable,so always use a few screws with whatever glue I use and then make a trim piece out of the covering material to hide the screws.some plastics wont take the rit dye.i have had good luck with the ones i have stained.
