Default RE: aviomodelli tango

ORIGINAL: acarter

a freind gave me a old plane (aviomodelli tango) i don't think it is made any more, well anyways right now i am flying a trainer but when i get better i would like to get it in the air, it's a mid wing sport plane and it says it needs a 4.5-6cc engine, i am just wondering what size glow engine that would be, oh yea the plane has a 59" wingspan and it says it weighs anywhere from 5.2 - 6 pounds when ready to fly

thanks
you will need to fly a 40 or 45 2 stroke on that plane. Here is a link for an engine. The Super Tigre 40 is about $50 and comes with the muffler. I really like mine. I have had no trouble at all with my engine. Even after it was tanked 6 inches in the ground. Sprayed it out put some after run in it and it flys great. Just one of the many many many many engines that people in here will tell you is the best to put on the plane. OS Saito, Super Tigre, and blah blah blah.
Good luck with the plane. A free plane is the best plane. I need to find me one of those.
