When you guys are trying to fit fiber glass parts such as the belly pan you shouldn't be heating them up and trying to reshape them, then sticking it with super glue.
Instead trim them for a good fit front and back then mix up a thick paste of ballons(much) and epoxy (little). Place the paste on the saddle and float it into place letting it retain its form... when happy, wipe the seam with a wet finger to remove excess epoxy/balloons and smoothing out the joint.
Parts stuck, gaps sealed, everyones happy.
