The edges of my belly pan were angled up at about 45 degrees.
That is a lot of micro balloons and epoxy. I think for the price the parts should have a reasonable fit.
Heating fiberglass and reshaping it on a part like this does not hurt it. It is just a pain in the butt!
The pan did not even have the same shape as the fuselage at the rear. I had to make a new former for the rear just to make it wide enough to fit.
