RE: one problem with my jato
the short of it is: take out that spring, replace with a inch of fuel ine, and cut a slightly smaller peice from a ball point pen. ajdust the metal pads, so that they just barely drag on the disc. also, get a pin keeper, and put it on the brake rod behind servo ear. so that when you give it gas, the brakes are fully released. this will help alot, and lock it up on dirt , but remember, when you hit brakes, weight shifts forward, making the rear lighter. on pavement, it helps alot but also, their is only one disk to the whole brake set-up. If your jato is pretty much stock wieght ,thats a lot of work for one disk. Traxxas really dropped the ball on the brakes on these.
