plug the hole with correct size dowel or scrap wood. as for the hinge not sure what you are refering to is it at the wing tip?what brand hinge?
Thanks, the dowel sounds like the right thing to do. Yes, the hinge is at the wing tip and it’s a Dubro plastic hinge with a metal pin. The plastic broke.
